Help Us Refresh Someone!

As you know, the theme of this year’s Next Level Maker Conference is “Refreshed,” and we are doing all kinds of things at the event to encourage, inspire, energize, refocus, and connect everyone!

But we want to do something for 1-3 people that makes a huge impact and for that we need your help!

We are working behind the scenes with community leaders to identify a couple of people who are hard-working, honest makers. People who have a great work ethic and great potential who are stuck either by circumstances or resources and who need a boost to make it happen.

We want to surprise those 1-3 people at the conference with a huge prize package that will refresh them in a way they couldn’t do themselves, but with their drive and commitment will launch them into what they’ve been dreaming about!

Doing this is a perfect picture of refreshing and reflects the heart of our event and would touch the hearts of the community — but we cannot do it without you.

Would you commit to donating something wonderful from your company?

It could be a laser or a printer or materials or resources or services — whatever you are willing to give that would truly refresh someone.

It can be of any value you choose, but we want to make a huge impact, so the more generous you can be, the better.

Depending on how many vendors participate, our goal is to surprise and refresh 1-3 people. And we want this to be a total surprise to them and to the community until the moment it is revealed during one of our General Sessions.

REFRESHING GIVEAWAY DETAILS
(Remember this is a secret!)

We are hand selecting 1-3 hard working people to surprise with what we hope to be a journey-changing prize package! They have no idea what’s coming!

What we are asking for from you:


  • Any size donation of products, equipment, services, subscriptions, training, or gift cards. There's no minimum and no required value. Depending on what and how much you're able to give, we welcome one or more items so we can stretch this gift to a second and third person if possible.
  • If you’re willing to help, we need specifics of what you’re going to donate. When you fill out the form, please include the exact item or service, its value, and any terms that apply. This lets us build a real, complete prize package instead of discovering gaps later.

Requirements for the donations:

  • They must be completely free and given to the recipient (not to Next Level Maker Events). No cost, no shipping costs, no fine print. Full ownership, no strings. Once given, it's theirs to do with whatever they chose.
  • If the donation is something you have in hand at the Conference that does not require shipping, please give it to the Conference organizers when you arrive and we will give it to the recipient on your behalf.
  • If the donation needs to be shipped to the recipient, the Conference organizers will give you the recipient’s contact and shipping info so you can coordinate with them to complete the donation.
  • The donations must be confidential until the big reveal. We'll tell you the exact moment it's safe to talk about it.
  • Subscriptions and recurring services are welcome — just be upfront about it. If your donation includes a free trial period or limited free term that will later convert to a paid subscription, that's fine. Just tell us clearly on the form when and how much it converts to, so we can pass that along honestly to the winner.

Additional details:


  • As donation commitments come in, we will determine whether there is enough to surprise more than one person and we will divide up prizes into groups if that opportunity arises with the minimum being 1 recipient and the maximum being 3.
  • If we receive generous donations that are of similar items or services, we will use that info to help us divide among winners in a balanced way.

What you’ll receive:

  • A live shoutout from the stage as it happens.
  • Dedicated recognition on all of our social channels and in our post-conference email to the full community after the event.
  • The sessions will also be recorded on video, so all attendees will be able to see the full video set AND we will post the surprise giveaway portions of the session on our website and social media channels.

Timeline

  • We need your commitment via the form by August 1.
  • If the item(s) you are donating are items you’ll be bringing to the Conference and do not require shipping and can fit in someone’s suitcase, please give them to the Conference organizers at the Registration Booth and we will in turn give them to the recipients on your behalf. If the item(s) are larger, they will need to be shipped to them.
  • We will supply you with the recipient’s contact information before the Conference begins. If shipping is required, we ask that you try to get the item(s) shipped within 10 business days after the conclusion of the Conference if possible.
